ABU DHABI – Get ready for a magical evening in Abu Dhabi as music maestro AR Rahman, in collaboration with Burjeel Holdings, is set to unveil “Jamal Al Etihad”, a song of hope from the UAE to the world.

The performance will take place this Saturday at 9:30 PM at the Sheikh Zayed Festival’s Layali Al Wathba Theatre, with gates opening at 7:00 PM.

The launch coincides with the festive spirit of Eid Al Etihad, promising a night filled with music, energy, and celebration.

The evening will feature Rahman performing “Jamal Al Etihad” live for the first time, alongside his team. The performance is complemented by band performances and traditional dance showcases, offering visitors a rich blend of artistic expressions.

The song, conceptualised by Burjeel Holdings and composed by Rahman, embodies the UAE’s values of unity, coexistence, resilience, hope, and shared humanity, aiming to captivate both local and international audiences.

The free-to-attend concert for festival ticket holders begins at 9:30 PM, followed by a three-minute fireworks display at 10:00 PM.

General entry to the festival costs Dh 10, giving the public a chance to experience one of the UAE’s biggest cultural events leading up to the 54th National Day.

Omran Al Khoori, Board Member at Burjeel Holdings, described the project as a tribute shaped by the spirit of the UAE, adding that the Sheikh Zayed Festival provides the perfect stage for sharing this musical creation with the public. The debut positions “Jamal Al Etihad” as a cultural highlight of the festival season, celebrating the nation’s progress and sense of togetherness.
